Stavo notando che certa stampa infraditata si sta spostando dal tema tangenti, mortadella e cicogna al fatto che così fu implicitamente finanziato il regime locale.
A mio modestimo parere l’argomento è molto delicato. In realtà andando a spulciare gli affari fatti o supportati negli ultimi anni dal governo italiano, così come da altri governi occidentali, si scoprirebbere decine e decine di impliciti o espliciti finanziamenti a regimi sanguinari o schiavisti. C’è poco da stracciarsi le vesti: il mondo è così, anche se il barometro tende decisamente al bello.
Quello che farebbe la differenza dal punto di vista etico è il fatto che un politico si arricchisca personalmente con un affare. Questo sarebbe, sempre a mio parere, moralmente inaccettabile. Sarebbe conflitto d’interesse; e, statisticamente parlando, è una evento decisamente più probabile dal 2001 che nel quinquennio precedente…
